Solo Adventurers

Solo travelers are more than welcome! All too often, not having a travel companion keeps us from saying “yes” to unmatched experiences like these. If you’d like to come with us, we will be your right-hand women and do our best to make you feel at home in our wonderful community.

Accommodations

To provide for your utmost comfort and privacy, all traveler accommodations are single occupancy and you will always have your own room. If you are traveling with someone with whom you want to share your space, special arrangements can be made to accommodate this request. Just let us know in advance of your booking, and we will do our best to find an appropriate room for you and your companion.

Insurance

One cannot be too prepared for the unexpected. Please protect yourself by buying travel insurance at the time of booking in the event of unforeseen circumstances, or if you must cancel your trip and forfeit funds.

We recommend choosing a policy that covers personal accident and illness, accidental loss of baggage and money, loss of booking fee, payment or cancellation fees, and curtailment expenses. A minimum coverage of $250,000 is encouraged. Travel insurance can be secured when purchasing your flight and through World Nomads or Travelex.

If you chose not to purchase travel insurance, you agree to indemnify Travel Sister LLC against any charges that might otherwise be covered by your insurance. You further agree that we are not responsible for any costs of cancellation by you.

Booking Transfer Policy

Up to 90 days before the booked tour date, you may transfer your reservation to another one of our tours with a credit according to the payments you have made, less any non-recoverable costs we have incurred on your behalf. Event refunds and credits are prohibited but you may contact us to see if it is possible to transfer your reservation to another party. Event transfers will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Refund Policy

Things come up — believe us, we understand! If you have to cancel your tour or attendance at an event— and we hope not, you’ll be missed — the following refund schedule applies:

  • If you initiate the cancellation 60 days or longer prior to the departure date, you are reimbursed for any funds paid, less any non-recoverable costs we have incurred on your behalf ( including but not limited to hotel rooms payments, third party vendor fees, deposits, and reservations)

  • If you initiate the cancellation less than 60 days prior to departure, we cannot refund any monies paid for the trip.

  • No refunds will be made on events. See transfer policy above.

Tour and Event Cancellation Policy

Travel Sister LLC reserves the right to cancel any tour or event, in which case no liability shall fall upon Travel Sister LLC. If Travel Sister LLC initiates the cancellation, we will refund all deposits and payments due to the guest. No refund will be issued to those failing to join their tour or event, nor for accommodations or any services not utilized, nor for a partially completed tour or event. Travel Sister LLC also reserves the right to decline, accept, or retain any person as a member of the tour or event at its own discretion.

Loss or Damage

Travel Sister LLC does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to your luggage or personal property, nor for any loss, damage, delay, illness, fatality, or other injury suffered. Baggage and personal effects are at the participant's risk at all times.

Injury or Illness

Participants agree that in the case of injury or illness, Travel Sister LLC can, at a cost to the participant — typically through their travel insurance company — arrange medical treatment and emergency evacuation service as Travel Sister LLC deems essential for the participant's safety.

Changes to Itineraries

Travel Sister LLC reserves the right to amend or vary the itinerary or other services nominated in the tour or event outline, should circumstances warrant that such changes would be in the best interest of participants or any other operational reason.

Exchange Rates and Taxes

To reflect significant fluctuations in exchange rates or the imposition of new government taxes that impact the cost of providing its services, Travel Sister LLC reserves the right to adjust prices as may be necessary from time to time. However, once a reservation has been confirmed, the price remains unchanged.

Travel Sister LLC shall be in no part held liable for any acts, omissions, failures, or defaults on part of the persons or companies who, at the request of Travel Sister LLC, provide transport, accommodations, or similar services or facilities. Also, Travel Sister LLC does not own or manage any transportation vehicles, hotels, restaurants, or any other supplier thereof.
